This course covers; current, voltage, resistor, capacitor and inductor; theorems and rules used for analysing AC and DC circuits; conductor-nonconductor-semiconductor concepts; direct current (DC) and alternating current (AC) concepts; Ohm's law; series, parallel and compound circuits and their analysis; Kirchhoff's voltage and current laws (KVL and KCL), theorems in DC and AC circuits; semi-conductors, basic structures, diodes, characteristics of diodes, filters, clippers, rectifiers; inverter circuits; Zener diodes and other types of diodes; transistors: features, operations, biasing.
