This course includes electron structure of atom, atomic structure, electronegativity,molecular structure, molecular symmetry, valence bond theory, molecular orbital theory (for A2, AB, AB2, AB3 type molecules), crystal structure, the radius ratio, common crystal structure for ionic solids, lattice enthalpy, metallic bonds, defects of crystals, interactions between particles, acids-base definitions in molecular orbital theory, hardness and softness of acids and bases.
