Course Contents

This course includes basic principles of bioenergetics, glycolysis and the catabolism of hexoses, citric acid (Krebs) cycle, oxidation of fatty acids, amino acids, peptides and proteins, oxidation of amino acids and urea production, oxidative phosphorylation and photosynthetic phosphorylation, photosynthesis, gluconeo-genesis and glycogen synthesis, biosynthesis other carbohydrates, lipid biosynthesis, amino acid biosynthesis degradation and biosynthesis of nucleotides.
