Course Contents

This course covers compounds including transition metal-carbon sigma bonds, metal carbonyls, metal-nirtoyl and dihydrogen compounds, carbene complexes, metal carbyne complexes, transition metal complexes of unsaturated organic ligands (cyclopentadienyl, olefin, arene, etc. ), metal-metal bonds, organometallic catalysis, hydroformilation and etc, Monsanto acetic acid process, Wacker(Smidt) process, Hydrogenation with Wilkonson's catalyst, olefin metahtesis, Ziegler Natta polymerization, and analysis of organometallic compounds with spectroscopic methods
