1) Students will be able to understand the relationship between literature and history.
2) Students will have a basic understanding of the relationship between fiction and history, the development of historical novel and diverse perspectives towards historical novel.
3) Students will be able to discuss the relationship between literature and history and the constructed past through analysis of the selected texts from several writers in the various period of Turkish literature like Reşat Ekrem Koçu, Nihal Atsız, Kemal Tahir, Tarık Buğra, Orhan Pamuk, İhsan Oktay Anar.
