Course Contents

The importance of marine pollution, physical and chemical properties of sea water, waves, tides and currents and the effects of pollutants on the marine environment, marine outfall system; quality and design criteria; Dilution calculations; marine outfall design of hydraulic facilities, marine discharge line analysis of the hydrodynamic loads; marine discharge line analysis of stress and strain; marine outfall pipe types and construction methods.
