General requirements for planing, designing and construction of treatment plants, required data for design of treatment plant, population prediction, waste water flows and flow rate calculations, selection of appropriate technology and design of treatment units

Weekly Schedule

1) General demands for planning, desinging and construction of wastewater treatment plants
2) Required data for design of wastewater treatment plants and population prediction
3) Wastewater flows and flow rate calculation
4) Calculation of pollution load
5) Selection of appropriate wastewater treatment technology
6) Introduction to design of wastewater treatment plant and design of grills
7) Required calculations for design of aerated sand traps
8) Required calculations for design of preliminary precipitation tanks
9) Midterm examination
10) Required calculations for design of aeration tanks
11) Required calculations for design of final precipitation tanks
12) Selection of appropriate method for sludge disposal and required calculations
