2) To develop projects related to local economic integration, environmental justice, local food movements, food
sovereignty and security, job creation, and migration.
3) To participate in a panel discussing a controversial issue chosen by the group in the lecture subjects.
4) To investigate the application of sociological approaches to environmental issues, examine environmental inequalities, and analyze the social, political, and cultural responses to environmental change.
