Course Contents

This course covers,introduction; general state of energy; energy reserves, production and consumption of the world and Turkey; alternative energy resources and environment; sectorial distribution of energy usage in Turkey and the structure of Turkish industry; fundamentals of energy management and starting energy management programs in industry; energy manager and his/her duties; proper economical assessment methods for energy management; mass and energy equilibriums in energy systems; active and passive energy management; examples of possible energy savings in various systems; combined heat and power systems and heat pumps.
