Sedimentology

Course Contents

The general features of stratified rocks. Strata and bedding types. Stratigraphic units, Concordant and discordant series and their properties. Lithostratigraphy units and classification. Drawing of stratigraphic maps. Generalized stratigraphic sections. Measured stratigraphic section of the construction principles. Correlation types and correlation techniques.
