1) The students will have the basic knowledge on plastic forming processes.
2) At the end of the lessons, students should understand the relation between the mechanical behaviour of materials and the metallurgical fundamentals of forming.
3) The students should understand the concept of different sheet metal forming and cutting process.
4) The students should understand the concept of different massive metal forming process.
5) The students should know the materials of tooling used for the metal forming.
6) The students should understand the concept of formability.
