Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
1) Interprets and discusses the basic concepts of the TCP / IP protocol set and principles of data communication.
2) It explains the detailed and technical service structuring and installation principles of the most used Internet applications.
3) Understands the OSI multilayer network model. It defines the functions of the TCP / IP protocol set according to the OSI model.
4) Defines the routing mechanism and protocols for TCP / IP networks.
5) Explain IPv6 addressing and its functional usage.
6) Determines the security needs for computer networks.
