Course Contents

Hardware description languages: VHDL, Verilog, JHDL, System C advantages of high level language usage, design steps, development environments, verification tools, programming standards (JEDEC). Basic data types, sequential commands, mixed (composite) data types, basic modeling structures, subroutines, packages and "use" uses, component and configuration definition and use, generate expressions, test mechanisms ( testbench) production.
