Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1) Explains the structure, function and metabolism of connective tissue, covering epithelium and bone tissue proteins.
2) Defines the structure and function of the anatomical features of the movement system.
3) Describes the histological and functional properties of cells and tissues. Distinguishes epithelium, ligament, cartilage and bone tissue. Knows the organization of the skeleton.
4) Emphasizes that the cadaver is the first patient of a medical student and comprehend concepts such as empathy, respect, role of a physician, and responsibility.
5) Acquires the necessary language proficiency to follow the current literature and communicate with foreign colleagues.
6) Evaluates the own abilities and competencies within the scope of career planning, sets the right goals and contributes to his or her lifelong self-development.

Course Contents

Connective tissue, covering epithelium, bone tissue, proteins structure, function and metabolism are learn. Defines structure and functions of anatomical structures of moviment system. It is focused that cadaver is the first patient of a medical student. Adopts concepts such as empathy, respect, role of medicine and responsibility.
