Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1) Defines the situations that need to be treated in the upper center, what needs to be done in emergency conditions and performs routine pregnancy examination when the pregnancy is complicated,
2) Knows the cancer caused by female genital organs, the symptoms, examination findings and identify in whom and how often they will be screened in female genital cancers and in which cases they will refer to female genital system cancers,
3) Defines the definitions of infertility, describes the basic examinations to be done in infertile couples and how to interpret them, and expresses the appropriate treatment approach according to the results of these examinations,
4) Absorbs basic information about contraception, knows the advantages, disadvantages and contraindications of contraceptive methods, and counsels about contraceptive options,
5) Defines the symptoms, examination findings, the necessary investigations and treatment options in benign gynecological diseases.
6) Defines the changes in the puerberum in the female genital system and identifies the appropriate treatment options by describing the examinations in the pathology related to the puberte.
7) Defines the classification, the basic examinations and investigations to be performed and treatments options in patients presenting with urinary incontinence complaints.
8) Describes the changes that occur in the menopausal period and knows the methods used in the screening, diagnosis and treatment of the increased risk of this turnover.
9) Applies the pregnancy examination, gynecological examination and vaginal and cervical sample taking, counsells about contraception, and accompanies normal birth and cesarean birth.
