2) Knows the causes and effects of disease.
3) Describes the pathology and physio-pathology in diseases.
4) Recognizes the factors that impair eye health.
5) Performs the preventive medicine in common epidemiological diseases.
6) Knows drug effects and interactions.
7) Knows the treatment methods.
8) Ratiocinates deductively in eye diseases.
9) Recognizies and treats the eye health and vision-threatening factors, diseases and guids the patient correctly when necessary

Course Contents

It is the medical student's ability to learn about eye diseases, to evaluate the symptoms and signs of these diseases, to understand their treatment, and to guide patients.

Weekly Schedule

1) Eye Anatomy, Ophthalmological instruments, Lens Diseases, Cataract, Eye Traumas, Pupil and Cranial nerve Paralysis, Strabismus and Nystagmus, Conjunctiva Diseases
2) Basic features of glaucoma,Optic nerve diseases, Refraction Defects
3) Eye Exam
