Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1) Gains the knowledge and skill proficiency in the diagnosis, treatment, follow-up and referral to the upper level when necessary in the primary care conditions of diseases that are frequently encountered in the otorhinolaryngology field.
2) Knows the ENT and Head and Neck region anamnesis and physical examination principles
3) Makes a diagnosis and differential diagnosis of common diseases in the ENT and Head and Neck regions.
4) Performs the treatment and follow-up of primary care diseases in the ENT and Head and Neck regions.
5) Plays a role in the early diagnosis of head and neck tumors by knowing the symptoms and physical examination findings.

Course Contents

Gaining all theoretical and practical foundations of ENT

Weekly Schedule

1) ear diseases (outer, middle, inner), facial paralysis, vertigo, hearing loss, oral cavity and oropharynx tumors, salivary gland diseases
2) nasal obstruction, epistaxis, OSAS, mass in the neck, lymphadenopathy, tinnitus, vestibular schwannoma, oropharynx diseases, larynx cancers, head and neck cancers
3) larynx benign diseases, laryngeal obstruction, nasopharynx diseases, ear trauma
