Weekly Schedule

1) Description of glaze, aim of glazing, introduction to oxide properties used glaze preperation.
2) Properties of oxide and raw materials used glaze preperation.
3) Classification of ceramic glazes, preperation of ceramic glazes.
4) Glazing methods, glass trinkets.
5) Colouring of glazes, properties of oxides used colouring of glazes, glaze preperation at the laboratory.
6) Glaze preperation at the laboratory.
7) Properties of ceramic glazes and tests applied to glazes.
8) Midterm examination/Assessment
9) Defects on the ceramic glazes and overcoming of these defects, artistic glazes, mat glazes, crackle glazes.
10) Gathering glazes, crystal glazes, aventurine glazes, reduction glazes.
11) Different kinds of glaze preparation by the laboratory groups.
12) Different kinds of glaze preparation by the laboratory groups.
13) Pata de verre technique.
14) Technical improvements of glass.
15) Preparing industrial glazes.
