Course Contents

This course gives the professional competence to practice their original designs wirh silkscreen technique on the different surfaces

Weekly Schedule

1) Initiation of sketch studies for the project of creating an individual's own Visual Expression Language and the creation of a visual expression language appropriate to the technique by associating the designs with the silk screen printing technique. (1st design design week
2) Initiation of sketch studies for the project of creating an individual's own Visual Expression Language and the creation of a visual expression language appropriate to the technique by associating the designs with the silk screen printing technique.(2nd design design week
3) Starting out from the selected sketches, drawing the patterns on the computer or manually on acetate film according to the silk screen printing logic and technique, and creating the visual expression language according to the technique by associating the designs with the technique. (3rd design design week)

5) Preparing acetate films of selected, finished designs and starting sieve preparation processes.

7) Preparation of color / paint / pastes to be used in the technology laboratory and preparation of underprint materials

9) Printing and duplication of the project on the planned underprint material in the planned color combination. (1st week of application)
