Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1) The student learns and sees examples of screen printing, drum printing, rotocolor printing/laserroll printing and digital printing technologies, which are pattern transfer technologies used in ceramics factories.
2) Learns the details of screen printing technique and pattern preparation steps in adobe photoshop. The subject of color separation and acetate film acquisition from a digital pattern is covered.
3) Learns materials such as frames, exposure machine, silk cloth and needed materials (emulsion-paint-medium) in the mechanical printing workshop.
4) Silk cloth experiences emulsion drawing, film exposure and washing on a stretched sieve.
5) Learns to obtain intermediate tones by proportioning pigments with each other.
6) Experienced printing on ceramic tile using screen printing table.
7) Experiences the harmony of points such as pattern, color, tile shape in their applications.
8) Experiences the concept project preparation and application process in the field of industrial ceramic tile.
