Course Contents

Basic knowledge of aesthetics. The structure of the photographic image. Composition elements of management. Using advanced digital techniques to experimental applications.

Weekly Schedule

1) Discussions on the theoretical readings on aesthetics. Framing the theoretical foundations of aesthetics. Plastic elements of the image (color, line, etc.)
2) The ontological structure of the photographic image.
3) Figure as an element of composition. Anatomy and visual gratification.
4) Nature as an element of composition.
5) Space as an element of composition.
6) The stage where they are set up the camera. Natural scene, the camera's location (to get the documentary image).
7) Image and rhythm and time.
8) Midterm examination/Assessment
9) Spoil the image (optical distortion, digital distortion).
10) Using sound and music. Occurrence of sound, image sensing. Sound bozumları. Relationship with the music content. Relationship between music and visual rhythm.
11) Creative use of the screen, image layers, graphics add-ons. External interventions in the image (image editor programs interfere with the image, add, subtract, exchange)
