1) From the beginning of the Byzantium till the end of the 18th century, to get the general knowledge of the areas covering the plastic arts such as painting, sculpture and architecture.
2) To know the artist that produces the art work.
3) To be able to know the name of the art work.
3) To have the knowledge of art culture and a thriving vision. Nurturing from this art culture and vision, to achieve various synthesis and exploit from these when producing an art work.
4) To know the period of the art work.
5) To know the medium of the art work.
6) To know the date of the art work by century, but exact date for the unique ones.
7) To know the location of an architectural work.
8) To identify the key figures of the art work.
9) To have the knowledge of art history terminology and to perceive the usage of art history terms when looking at an art work.
10) To perceive the influences on the artist.
11) To know the patron of the art work.
12) To decipher the meaning of the symbols of the art work.
13) To have the general knowledge of historical, geographical and sociological structure of the civilization that the art work belongs to.
14) To be able to comment on the plastic values of the art work.
15) To figure out the technique and the style of the art work.
16) To have the knowledge of art culture and a thriving vision. Nurturing from this art culture and vision, to achieve various synthesis and exploit from these when producing an art work.
17) To have the artistic point of view.
