1) Be equipped with the fundamentals of aquatint which is one of intaglio printing techniques.
2) Apply aquatinta.
3) Use intaglio printing techniques in artistic designs and applications and copy the printings.
4) Apply relief etching technique.
5) Apply colored intaglio printing techniques.

Course Contents

This course covers applied study of engravings on zinc plates using such techniques as aquatint print Eau-forte, aguatinta, soft ground and intaglio, information on and application of colour engraving and color serigraphy also known as silkscreen.
