Course Contents

Learning Adobe Indesign. Designing electronic publications. To be able to design interactive screens. Designing printed publications.

Weekly Schedule

1) Meeting, introduction of the software to be used during the course period.
2) Introduction to Adobe Indesign, introduction of tools.
3) Introduction of color spaces according to electronic or printed publication.
4) Learning important details about choosing appropriate fonts for publication.
5) Preparation of page automations in layout design.
6) Using Word and PDF content as content in Adobe Indesign.
7) Making batch design sheets by pulling data from Excel.
8) Making text content using artificial intelligence tools.
9) Making visuals from text using artificial intelligence tools and using them in composition.
10) Editing PDFs with Acrobat Reader.
11) To publish publication designs electronically.
12) Application 1: Catalog Design
13) Application 2: Magazine Design
14) Application 3: Book Design
15) Final exam project submission.
