Gravure (zinc,copper and aluminium); Introduction of gravure historical development, artists, Introduction of material tools and equipment, material and the preparation of the metal plate, dry-point and eau-forte; preparation to application of design and composition line with given subjects; post print: print numbering;
Weekly Schedule
1) The definition of intaglio printing techniques and information on techniques2) Relief printing works of the artists and the presentation visuals.
3) Preparation of Zinc plate
4) Dry point
5) Dry point method and pattern plate drawing
6) Printing of the Dry point desing
7) numbered prints, signed of the Dry point
8) Midterm examination/Assessment
9) İnformation about the Eau-Forte (acid feeding) technique
10) Drawing according to the Eau-Forte (acid feeding) technique
11) Zinc plate pattern drawing.
12) Accordance with varnish pattern drawn on the plate with a pointed end.
13) Eau-Forte (acid feeding) technique
14) Eau-Forte (acid folding) technique, the pressure pattern to be formed
15) Print pictures numbered and signed.
