Course Contents

Prehistoric, Egyptian, ancient Greek, Etruscan, Roman, Gotic, Renaissance, Baroque and modern periods of sculpture.

Weekly Schedule

1) Primitive Sculpture is explained with examples from Anatolian civilizations.
2) The reference points between Primitive Sculpture and modern period sculpture are marked.
3) Greek Sculpture Art based on Egyptian sculpture and anatomy knowledge in the Antiquity period is examined comparatively in the context of meaning worlds.
4) The composition of Laacon sculpture is investigated.
5) The differences between the medieval sculpture and the ancient period are determined. The Renaissance Period is transmitted through a versatile reading.
6) During the Renaissance period, Michelangelo and his works are examined. Differences between the Rokes and the Renaissance periods are presented in an interdisciplinary reading.
7) The Bernini Statue "How" question is examined around.
