Course Contents

Nature of human perception and effects of psychological factors, visual sense, sensorial alerts, structure of retina, depth cues and distance perception, movement, form and colour perception, effects of the past experiments on the perception will be analyzed.

2) 2- Visual System, The Instrument as Human Eye and compare with other Organisms, How do we see?

5) 5- Differences on Perception, Visual İllusions.
6) 6- Visual Culture, The Influence of Cultural Differences of Visual Perception.
7) 7- To form three dimensional form on two dimensional surface, Art, Design and Visula Thinking.
8) Midterm examination/Assessment
9) 8- Depth Perception.
10) 9- Visual Organisation and Gestalt Principles.
11) 10- Perception and Shape.
