Course Contents

Information about traditional Turkish theater; social structure of the Ottoman Tanzimat and Constitutional Era; periods of social, intellectual and cultural properties; in the context of relations with the Western Theater, acting, playwriting, stage design, directing approaches; theater companies and theater buildings. The establishment of the Republic to present all aspects of the theatre act to be addressed.
