Art, Philosophy, Aesthetics, Visual Communication Design
The course provides a basic knowledge of general communication history and increasing important of visual communication elements. In this historical context, some of the relevant theoric concepts such as theories on visual communication, cultural imperialism and culture industry, ideology and visual arts are explained. Structuralism, Frankfurt School and the other critical elements of the theory are also included in the course.
