Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1) In communication ,to know psychology of the masses is very important to be able to contact with the people.The aim is this course is to make analyses in this field.
2) Social psycology studies the values and believes of the masses
3) Social psychology studies individual acts in the context ot the interaction with the masses.
4) Students gain the ability to apply the social psychological principles, knowledges and techniques to their proffesional life.
5) Improves skills of applying scientific methodoloy and tecniques into communication researches.

Social pyscology is very important to understand the communication as a social fact.In that perspective, different approaches are tought in this course.

1) General information on the course; defining the purposes and curriculum of the class. Defining "social psychology"; explaining the relationship between social psychology and communication studies.
2) Conformithy and social effect.
3) Attitudes and attitude changement.
4) Persuasion and persuasive communication.
5) Advetisement and propaganda.
6) Social cognition
7) Group construction and group dynamics.
8) Midterm examination/Assessment
9) Group decision and pathologie of decision making.
10) Methodologicial perspectives, chritical thinking and experimenting in society.
11) Motivations and socialization
12) Interaction and language
13) Social psychology, mass communication and audiences
14) Social psychology and audience researches: main concepts, methods and techniques.
15) General assessment on subjects treated during the term.
16) Final examination
