Course Contents

The course aims to help students develop a critical appreciation of the role of internet in public relations activities. In this context course begins by analyzing the information society process. Web based public relations activities and implementation areas are taught in this course like; corporate web site design and its content, blogs, RSS, and other social media channels, marketing activities on the electronic platform, research opportunities are examined. Various case studies are used to describe the actual web based PR activities faced by individuals and organizastions.
