Course Contents

In this course, the concepts and theoriticans which are related with new media concept, digital skills, digital divide, digital competency will be evaluated. Participatory culture, citizenship journalism, big data analaysis, hate speech in new media, misinformation and disinformation in new media, trolls, surveillance society, new media-ethics and privacy relationship, hacktivism and hack culture will be examined.
