Introduction to Journalism
Course Contents
The concept of news, news values and news factor theory will be examined. News will be providing information on production processes, policies, news, resources to bring about the changes in news content, design and events of reality through media, news media will be analyzed to be made available. News and information about writing, newspapers, news and news of the applications will be reviewed.
Weekly Schedule
1) Students will be informed about the purpose and content of the course, students learned about the course expectations and requirements.2) Explained the concept of news and news production process.
3) News in the production process of data collection techniques, sources explained the interview process.
4) News value of the theories developed in the United States explained the principles of journalism will be covered.
5) News value of the theories developed in Europe, explained the principles of journalism will be covered.
6) News writing techniques will be discussed.
7) News writing techniques, examples will be examined.
