1) At the end of the course, the student will be able to do anything regarding basic Office programs, knows the importance and advantages of the AutoCad program in the market and draw 2D (plan, section, elevation etc.) drawings through this program.

Course Contents

In this course, basic IT equipment, software and hardware concepts by specifying the start, then, use of basic office programs and practical examples of what can be done in the field of Interior Design professionals will be announced on. After students have the following stage, they bring the concept design in AutoCAD program and uses the most basic program commands via the 2-D as an example.

Weekly Schedule

1) Preparatory work of the application of the criteria of technical drawings of designs provide the advantages of making the computer environment described, the sampling of the programs used for this purpose and Introduction to AutoCAD.
2) AutoCAD program, screen, review, disclosure of the components, the keyboard and mouse usage details of the practical representation. File menu options are examined and specified the objectives of making the template file.
3) Regulations that must be input in the template file. Object Snap (OSNAP) and the properties of the capture point, Layer Properties Manager Layer (pen) arrangements.
4) AutoCAD in explanation of the numerical value input unit, the architectural / interior design program, transferring the designs to be aware of size / scale explanation of concepts, demonstration of sample applications.
5) Case study entry and applications, drawing on the drawing commands. Line, Circle, Trim commands and applications.
6) Rotate, Scale, extend, Chamfer, Fillet commands and applications.
7) Array, Mirror, Copy, Move, Offset commands and applications.
8) Midterm examination/Assessment
9) Hatch, with the scanning process and the variety of command and the parameters of expression and application.
10) For dimensioning, dimension style, make the privatization process, the creation of a personal style, size, and the inclusion of the template description and application procedures.
11) Dimensioning commands, Linear, Aligned, Radius, Diameter, and Angular Continue the use of options, where appropriate description of the purpose and applications.
12) The print job preparation activities, letterhead paper and scale to the values of the different arrangement and explaining the criteria for the creation of applications.
