Definition of urban settlement. Basic elements of settlement: squares, streets, courts, definition of historical settlement, social analysis on an urban zone, functional analysis, studying of natural and topographic properties, forming of architectural program, analysis of various design approaches, practical urban and building design studio for various components of the city.
