1) Recognize construction materials, structure plans and types of Anatolian Seljukid buildings.
2) Recognize Medieval historical geography of Anatolia, as well as the first Turkish settlers such as Menguckids, Danishmends and Seljukids, their history and regions, they have settled.
3) Recognize architectural features of Seljukid monuments.
4) Recognize major types of Seljukid structures and their functions.
5) Recognize the knowledge of design and planning of the Seljukid architecture.

Course Contents

1.Explanation of Anatolian Turkish architecture by emphasizing Seljukid Architecture and geographical and cultural accumulation. 2.Providing the students to perceive the cultural and geographical context in which they are created by in-situ experience and investigation. 3.Providing students to comprehend architectural elements and features by in-situ technical education and naked-eye observation.
