General concepts about production and technology, building production, factors effecting the progress of building production, industrialization in general and industrialization in building production, features of industrialized production, standards and standardization, dimensional and modular coordination in industrialized building production. Industrialization in building production: Indirect, partial, total industrialization, open and closed systems. Evolution of construction systems and techniques: Primitive, traditional, improved traditional, industrialized production systems. Contemporary on-site production systems: Tunnel form, slipform, climbing form, pneumatic forms and production systems. Prefabricated production systems: Panel, carcass, cell systems and their properties in general. Problems in production, transportation, storage, installation and design with these systems.
