Course Contents

The concepts of energy, ecology, sustainability, relationship between building and environment and energy efficient building design are defined. Conception of requirements of energy in buildings, design methods intended for using of renewable/alternative energies (solar, wind, geothermal biomass etc.): the methods of active and passive energy efficient design, isolation concept and principles of building pattern design and energy efficient building samples are emphasized.
