4) Identify the materials and their places and forms of use in production of lighting equipments.
5) Apply the artificial lighting calculations and forms of application of those results in different places.
6) Apply the criteria and arrangements for natural lighting in daytime in interior spaces.
7) Apply the criteria of arrangement of shell design according to natural lighting
8) Apply artificial lighting criteria in different places (museum, education, housing, hotel, etc.)

Course Contents

Application of illumination to Architecture, Lighting requirements, illumination distribution on interior surfaces, Artificial lighting design, illumination components, daylight factor method of interior illuminance level calculation on sample buildings and consider lighting in projects.

1) Light / Eye / Vision explanation of the relationship between humans and examine the need for light.
