Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1) Use their theoretical knowledges to pratical skill that of prenatal period I, Birth and Postpartum Period and Newborn Health and Diseases.
2) Discuss these lessons new knowledges
3) Evaluate the basıc care of midwifery.
4) Apply the theoretical knowledge to practical skill
5) Use techniques related to comminication interpersonel relationship with other professionals
6) Synthesize different developments work system.
7) Completes the graduation criteria in midwifery undergraduate education.

Course Contents

The course covers; Normal pregnancy period and midwifery care, normal birth and midwifery care, normal postpartum peripod, normal newborn and midwifery care, Discharge education related to the mother and baby, Pregnancy, birth and postpartum peripod and new development, standards for the practice of midwifery.
