Basic concepts in operating room nursing: Task, authority and responsibilities of operating room nursing, teamwork, effective communication, Basic concepts in operating room nursing: The process of patient care in the operating room, evidence- based practice, Patient safety in the operating room, Environmental safety in the operating room, Safety working in the operating room, Prevention and control of infection, Temperature control in the operating room; unwanted hypotermia, malign hypethermia, Positioning, operation table and features, prevention of pressure ulcers, Operating room cleaning and disinfection, Surgical instruments and suture materials, Bleeding control, dressings, drains, Actions to be performed on tissue samples, Special surgical applications: Minimally invasive surgery, video technology, laser surgery, electro surgery, robotic surgery, hybrid surgery.
