1) Explain the nature of cancer, factors that cause disease, diagnostic and treatment methods.
2) Distinguish the effects of cancer patient’s functional health patterns.
3) Assess the changes in function due tocancer, the individual living.
4) Explane the legal and ethical aspects of care.
5) Develop the basic nursing skills to meet the functional requirements of the patient.
6) Compare the structure and function of the normal cell and the cancer cell.
7) Differentiate between benign and malignant tumors
8) Discuss the role of the nurse in assessment and management of common oncologic emergencies
9) Describe common nursing diagnoses and collaborative problems of patients with cancer.
