1) Recognize development of the social work as a discipline and professional in Turkey and in the world.
2) Evaluate democracy, human rights and social justice concepts in terms of social work.
3) Explain the basic knowledge and the skills related to social work theory and practice.
4) Recognize social welfare, the definition of social work and comprehension, the basic concepts and approaches and the social work as a discipline and professional.
