1) Explain life cycle and developmental stages related to social, economical and cultural factors.
2) Define the characteristics of adulthood, aging and death and establish connection with social work.
3) Comprehend normal and abnormal features of human behaviour, social effect and adaptation, mental health and ilnesses, stigmatization, gender etc.
4) Evaluate human being in social environment in a holistic view.
5) Evaluate developmental stages and its effects on individuals.

Course Contents
Life cycle and developmental stages will be analyzed with connection social, economic and cultural factors. Adulthood, elder people and death will be detailed examined. Needs and problems in these developmental stages connected with social work intervention. "Normal" and "abnormal" aspects of human behaviour, social effects and adaptation, mental health and mental problems, exclusion, labeling and gender issues will be covered in this course.
