1) Classify background of street children problems in a historical frame, and community based services for street children.
2) Explain street children phenomenon, the causes of street children phenomenon,current services and policies.
3) Classify child protection and the holistic view for children protection.
4) Develop social work knowledge and the skills for working with street children.
5) Determine national and international regulations related to street children (and children).

This course covers street children issue from Ottoman Period to Republic of Turkey, dynamics of street children issue, national legislation, existed services and policies.
