Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1) Determine the knowledge and the skills of working process with family and the groups in the frame of generalist social work approach and carry out.
2) Determine the conception and comprehension of group and group dynamics.
3) Explain the role, technics, practicing and programmes which are used working with family and groups and carry out.
4) Evaluate groups and families and develop intervention plans.
5) Plan, practice and keep records of social group work.
6) Determine groups types.
7) Carry out social work practice with families.

Course Contents

Working with families and groups in frame of generalist social work practice, analyzing of group dynamics, principles and small groups theories which based on group works, roles, technics, applications and programs which have been used to work with families and groups.
