1) Determine the knowledge of cenception and comprehension of asylum seekers, migration and refugees.
2) Cognizes knowledge of migration, asylum seeking, and refugee process.
3) Learnes about difficulties and psycho-social problems of refugees, migarnts and asylum seekers countries where they are.
4) Obtaines knowledge of policies related to asylum seekers and refugees in international documents.
5) Learnes national and international regulations about refugees, migrants and asylum seekers.
6) Learnes of social workers' roles and social work practice about refugees, migrants and asylum seekers.

Course Contents

This course covers the process of refugees and asylum seekers, difficulties and psychosocial problems of refugees and asylum seekers countries where they are, policies related to refugees and asylum seekers in international documents, examples from Turkey and world, social work practice with refugees and asylum seekers.
