Within the scope of this course, the distinction between local and central government within the public administration structure, the theoretical framework of local governments, examples from local governments in the world, local government organisations in Turkey, legislation on local governments, new searches for local governments and the future of local governments, the relationship between local governments and democracy, participation, volunteering and social work, the relationship between social work service-users and local governments, social services offered in local governments.
