1) Formulate a treatment plan and criteria for diagnosis.
2) Explain the indications and contraindications of endodontic treatment.
3) Express the principles in dental imaging in respect to endodontic diagnosis and treatment.
4) Express the principles of local anaesthesia for the treatment of pulpal and periradicular disease.
5) Understand the various types of root canal sealers and obturation techniques.
6) Express the aetiology, pathology, clinical presentations and treatment options for diseases affecting the pulp.
7) Express the aetiology, pathology, clinical presentations and treatment options for diseases affecting the periradicular tissues.
