1) Gains insight about assesment methods of growth and development used in orthodontics.
2) Explains the development of the dentition from birth to adulthood
3) Explains the features of primary and permanent dentition
4) Comprehends the neutral occlusion concept and classifies the important factors that effect neutral occlusion
5) Knows the malocclusion concept.
6) Defines the dental orthodontic anomalies in three dimension
7) Defines skeletal orthodontic anomalies in three dimension
8) Knows the general features of Angle Class I malocclusions.
9) Defines Angle Class II malocclusions; recognizes the differences between sub-divisions.
10) Diagnoses Angle Class III malocclusion.
11) Classifies the orthodontic anomalies according to their etiology
12) Knows the diagnosis methods used in orthodontics.
13) Has an opinion about the cephalometric points, planes and analyses used in orthodontics.
